IISc Bangalore MTech CDS Interview Experience
Hello GATE Aspirants, here is my Interview experience of MTech CDS (Computational and Data Science) at IISc Bangalore.
This year in 2024, IISc decided to conduct interviews for admission to MTech in CDS (coursework) program. The criteria for admission is 70% GATE Score + 30% Interview performance.
The cutoff for interview call was Score 745 for GATE CS, Score 735 for GATE DA
My interview date was 17 April 2024, 9 a.m. This was an in-person interview at IISc.
All candidates were divided into 4 different panels. Mine was panel 2.
Unfortunately, I was the first one to get the panel but my interview was scheduled at last (around 1.30 pm)
The subjects were mainly Basic programming (arrays, matrices), Linear Algebra, Probability.
The Interview started with verifying my academic and professional details, then the interviewer asked me to from which subject to start programming or maths.

The programming question:
You are given a diagonal matrix and a lower triangular matrix. Write an efficient code to multiply the matrices.
