My IIT Bombay M.Tech RA Interview Experience
Here is my written test and interview experience for IIT Bombay M.Tech CSE RA and RAP program in 2024.
The GATE score cutoff for getting shortlisted for written test was 650.
My GATE CSE 2024 details are
AIR 379, GATE SCORE 776
This year, the entire admission process — Written test and interviews, was held offline at IIT Bombay campus.
A programming test + interview was to be taken for M.Tech RA/RAP program.
On 24 April 2024, a Google form was circulated among applied candidates, regarding choices for project choices under RA and RAP category
Let me explain what RA and RAP is —
RA and RAP both programs are of fixed duration — 3 years. RA stands for Research Assistantship and RAP stands for Research Assistantship for Project.
To earn your stipend, you need to do some RA work. There are 3 choices for RA work
1. Webteam RA — work for the webteam of CSE department or handle the institute website or any other internal websites and servers.
2. System Admin RA — work related to network handling, managing servers, and system infrastructure of IITB.
3. CS101 RA — In this case, you need to help manage the CS101 — Intro to Programming course.
